As I've gathered so many slides from various trips abroad and since I don't really feel like showing them on a screen every time, I finally decided to get a film scanner (Canon CanoScan 2700F). I started scanning my slides for presentations on the monitor. Saved on CD-Rs, you can then easily have a look at them.
When searching for information for future holidays, I thought why not publish them together with some useful hints in the web. This was the idea behind Reise@album which stands for an album of travelling pictures.
